As usual its been a bit so thought I'd share a few updates this chilly Ottawa morning:

I painted my home office "indigo-blue". I'm really thrilled as I find it makes it feel very peaceful in here. So peaceful you'll have do drag me out by my feet if you need me for anything else.

Next, I’ve been thinking seriously about doing more web development training to help me grow my career in government as a web and IT specialist. If you work in web, IT, or the public service and have any wisdom, learning resources, or “wish I’d known this sooner” advice, I’d really love to hear it.​

Also, with the holidays coming up, do you have any plans you’re excited about? Whether you’re travelling, staying cozy at home, or doing something low-key locally, feel free to share what you’re up to if you have time—I’d love to know.

It's also my "safe space". Somewhere I can go unwind, feel good about myself, and as productive as humanly possible.

I truly do love my office. Mostly because it gets plenty of wonderful and beautiful natural light. It also has a nice view of the shared backyard.
