Sometimes a little revamp is all you need ✨

This laundry room (swipe to see the before!) was ready for some love. We added a small window to bring in natural light, redesigned the cabinet layout for better function, installed new cabinetry and countertop, and finished it all off with a fresh coat of paint.

Now it’s a space that actually feels good to be in, even on laundry day 🙌

Lately we’ve been deep in larger renovation projects behind the scenes, but transformations like this remind us how powerful a small, thoughtful refresh can be.

He’s since written his Red Seal exam, were awaiting results and we couldn’t be more proud to have him on the team. Way to go, ! 👏💪

Progress over the last month ⏳

They say if these walls could talk… and trust us, we’re listening. 🏡🪵
This 1860s heritage home has seen a lot — and now, it’s getting a second life. ✨

From worn floorboards to hidden architectural gems and quite a few.. surprises…we’re uncovering the character and charm that’s been tucked away over time — and bringing it back to shine for years to come. 🧰⚒️📐

This is where the heartbeat of was beating for many, many years… until we opened the new addition — and the bakery’s heart grew *three sizes that day*. ❤️ (Yes, we went full Grinch.)

Restoring a space with this much history takes care, craftsmanship, and a *lot* of coffee. ☕️ But we’re loving every minute of it.

Part 1 of our interview with @bryanphotovideo at the bakery! Diving into how the bakery came to be, what inspired us, and where we're headed with @ekkodesignbuild! Isaac and I met in 2010 when I was taking a pottery class at the Gloucester Pottery School where Isaac was both a tech and a teacher. (Yes, think "Ghost".. 😂) We married a few years later and when looking for our first home together, we opted for something that had business potential. We always loved the east end, and quickly fell in love with Cumberland. We saw so much opportunity in this beautiful village, and with our passion for baking we gradually dipped our toes as entrepreneurs at the Cumberland farmers market, and then opened our doors in late 2015 (with a 2 month old in tow!). We've grown steadily since then, with now a team of 16, 3 children and a farm! It takes many hands and hours to keep this ship sailing, no regrets though - ridiculously excited for our newest adventure with Guy & Tanya from @ekkodesignbuild! It's finally really starting to sink in that this is coming true! Stay tuned for Part 2 soon to come! 📽️
