It’s that fleeting but wonderful moment......

Most every morning and often at other random times I sit on my tiny tiny front porch with coffee or a beverage (local raw honey in hot water is my go-to antihistamine drink)with my dog as companion communing with Nature.

When I do that today and for a few short days to come I am bathed in Lilly of the Valley scent.......
wonderful in itself and also reminiscent of my grandmother (may she be singing with the angels).

I assume Dog is aware of the beautiful smell but I don’t know what she thinks of it....

Both of the ponds are now working!
The wildlife pond is bubbling (found the larger bubbler at the bottom when the muck cleared),
The waterfall pond is falling (only had to re-prime the pump twice).....

There is somewhat of a miasma of rotting leaves still hanging around the back yard, but I’m hopeful that’s transient.

I was sitting on my deck this afternoon, basking and plotting, when I noticed that one of my primulas has come back!
I inevitably buy Spring flowers when they turn up in the grocery store pre-Spring and plant them outside when the good weather finally comes.
The Daffs, Hyacinths, and Tulips do fairly well with this but this is the first success I’ve had with a primula 🙂. It’s right up against the edge of the house behind the Elder bushes (probably why successful) and I couldn’t get to it so I used someone else’s photo....

I went outside to drink coffee with the dog and it was warmer outside than inside! That’s one!
Both the Native Elder and the Hawthorne are showing green buds! That’s two!!
Irises, Leopard’s Bane, and crocuses are blooming! That’s Three!!!

IT MUST BE SPRING....YAY!
