Freedom Dog Rescue will be updating our merch catalogue and introducing new items, including:
- Hoodies
- Shirts
- Hats

Our hoodies, shirts, and hats will feature our logo and a selection of text designs to choose from. Due to our smaller fulfillment capacity, hoodies and shirts will be printed per sale.

All will be available for Ottawa-area pickup only at this time. Proceeds after costs will go directly toward supporting the dogs in our care!

Is your dog good with other dogs? He really likes other dogs, would love to play wrestle if he gets the chance. With another dog he seems to come out of his shell.
Is your dog good with cats? Untested additional to add for cat interactions Met my neighbour's cat from afar. Seemed wary
Is your dog good with kids? Untested
Is your dog house trained? In Progress additional to add for house training Hit and miss but it's expected with younger puppy.
Is your dog crate trained? In Progress
additional to add for crate training Likes going in by himself to relax. Cries when the door is closed but does eventually settle and falls asleep
Does your dog have any special needs? No
Does your dog display any aggression (toys, food, people)? Fearful if you reach over to pet and he may need some time to adjust to new people. May mouth if new people touch too fast out of discomfort and fear and can't run away
Is your dog playful? He's moderately playful. Indoor fetch isn't a big hit. He'd rather chew the ball
Does your dog like to snuggle? Yes, when he's in the mood
Does your dog know basic commands? (e.g., Sit, Stay) Sit, although can take a second Stay, working on it Come: 80% there. Works best if you snap too. Sometimes needs you to point to him and then mark the way to you with your finger. Then he understands Does your dog know any special tricks? No
Does your dog like to go on walks? No walks so far but he enjoys sitting outside and watching people and birds and listening to the sounds
Does your dog have any fears? Yes can be fearful initially when approach by new people.

What are the first three words that come to mind when you think of your dog? Curious, intelligent, mischievous
In a short paragraph, please provide any other details or a brief overview of your foster dog. A good boy who has started to trust and be more himself in the time we've been together. Very curious. Wants to know what's happening and listens when I tell him the name of things. Would do really well with someone that is experienced with fearful animals or dogs and another confident dog to guide him that the world is not so scary.
