Containment — safety starts here

Before removing or , we create a work zone that is fully isolated from the rest of the space.

What we do:

What happens after a flood?

1️⃣ The first step is extracting water from floors and carpets using pumps.

2️⃣ Next, dehumidifiers (DHs) and air movers are installed. The number and placement of these units depend on moisture readings and the size of the affected area. All equipment is used in accordance with IICRC standards.

3️⃣ This helps remove moisture from building materials like drywall and prevents mold growth. However, even after drying, some materials may be beyond repair and must be removed during the restoration process.

4️⃣ If equipment isn’t installed in time, mold can begin developing within 24–48 hours. In such cases, all contaminated materials must be properly removed.

5️⃣ Mold remediation is carried out by certified professionals, following all health and safety regulations of Ontario — including the use of containment zones with negative air pressure to prevent the spread of spores.
