It’s been a gloomy couple days over here. So here is A little shine bright for your Wednesday morning!

This was a lot harder to narrow down and choose a team than I originally thought it was going to be. But after many hours going over applications I have chosen 6 applicants to join our team.

GUEST STRIKE SEWIST CALL

Freestyle Custom Fabrics is excited to announce that we are looking for our very first group of GUEST strike sewists.

Before applying for a guest sewist position, please read over our inclusivity statement to make sure that our core values align.

IMPORTANT INFO:

1. FCF runs slightly different than most other fabric companies. We open a new round of pre-orders every Wednesday
of the month, with the last Wednesday of each month being the close date for all rounds in that month.
Fabric provided could be from any of these weekly rounds.

2. The expected arrival of strike fabric is the beginning of June and will be shipped to the sewists at that time. More specific dates will be provided as we get closer to this time.

3. We are looking to create a diverse team of sewists/team members that will foster an inclusive environment.

4. There will be a strike fee of $16 to help cover the cost of shipping. A refundable deposit will be required until strike photos are provided.

5. In exchange for your help and time, we are offering a 'One Of A Kind' custom design slot to each sewists with a discount attached for any
of your custom design purchases.

6. Freestyle Custom Fabrics asks that all sewists work with pattern companies that have shown themselves to be inclusive. The list of compatible companies will be provided, as well as a list of pattern companies that are not.

HOW TO APPLY

1. Please fill out the following google form if you feel we would be a good fit for you!

2. Please upload up to 5 photos of your makes. Please ensure that photos you are
posting are good examples of the quality of your workmanship. Some examples of
this would be pressed seams, clear photos, non-busy backgrounds etc.
