I started running in February. I hadn’t run in five years. It was a challenge on all levels. August I did a super sprint triathlon with a 2.5+k run And today I completed a 5k run on an icy path with a wind chill and recovering lungs. I’m proud of my time - 45 mins! Yahoo!

Looking for treasure? X marks the spot ….
I’ve installed some at the Fitzroy Street Tiny Art Gallery from now til the ides of September!

Its hard to describe the colours that appear in the dark surface of the tentacles – you really just need to experience them in different lights. The white crackle suckers sure do pop un the dark and mysterious gallery space. The eight tentacles circling the treasure rise up from PEI clay and seafloor debris to reveal a whimsical shell, also made of clay. Twinkling solar lights dome on at dusk to enchant the scene at night.

Sure hope you come check it out and let me know what you think!

Thanks for this opportunity! And for your support

A Bloom and a Bevy 07/29/2024

Collective nouns for a group of jellyfish are: bloom brood fluther smack smuth stuck swarm Collective nouns for a group of peacocks are: bevy muster ostentation party pride pulchritude harem And this raku firing had both! While i prefer a smack of jellyfish (or maybe a swarm if i'm swimming with them) and a party of peacocks, this is the second firing of this kiln and i name raku firings in alphabetical order so B nouns are in today. Both peacocks and jellies will be available for purchase at sales events this year!
