September might be one of the best months to camp on Vancouver Island. 🌲
The summer rush starts to settle, campgrounds get a little quieter, the roads are calmer, and the days are still warm enough to make the most of them. Add in cooler evenings around the campfire, and we're definitely not ready to call camping season over yet.
September adventures are waiting. 🚐

September camping on Vancouver Island is a little bit of everything. ☀️🌧️🌲
Warm afternoons can quickly turn into cool evenings, so layers are your best friend. Pack a light rain jacket, a cozy sweater, comfortable pants, good shoes, and don't retire the shorts just yet.
September likes to keep you guessing, but that's half the fun. Pack for a little sun, a little rain, and a really good adventure. 🚐
What if we just... went?
Packed a bag, hit the road, and let Vancouver Island do the rest.

🌊 By the ocean, falling asleep to the sound of the waves?
🌲 Tucked away in the forest, surrounded by towering trees?
🏔️ Looking out at mountain views with your morning coffee?

Thinking about a camper van trip but not sure where to start?
We get it. If you've never rented a Westy before, it can feel like there are a lot of unknowns. That's why we've made the whole experience as simple as possible.
We'll show you how everything works before you leave, from driving the van to using the stove. Your camping and kitchen essentials are already packed, you can leave your vehicle with us while you're away, and if you're arriving by ferry, we'll even help you get to the van.
By the time you turn the key, you'll feel ready to hit the road.
All that's left to do is choose your route and enjoy the adventure. 🚐🌲

September might be Vancouver Island’s most underrated summer month. ☀️🌲
The days are still warm, the blackberries are still ripe, and there’s plenty of daylight left for one more swim, patio stop, or campfire. The difference? The roads quiet down, the crowds thin out, and suddenly the Island feels like yours again.
Our latest blog is live, and Dylan’s sharing why September is the month he finally gets to take his own Westy adventure.
If you’re local, this one’s especially for you. There’s still plenty of September availability in North and Cocoa Puff, so go be a tourist in your own backyard. 🚐

Whale watching is one of those experiences that never gets old. 🐋
Whether you're exploring the rugged coastline of Ucluelet, walking the Wild Pacific Trail, or making your way up to Telegraph Cove, Vancouver Island is one of the best places to spot these incredible animals.
If you're planning a road trip this season, add a whale-watching stop to your itinerary. It's the kind of memory you'll be talking about long after the trip is over. 🌊🚐

Good food just hits different outside.
Whether it's pancakes with your morning coffee or s'mores under the stars, some of the best camping memories are made around a picnic table.

The best stops on Vancouver Island usually aren't the ones with the biggest signs.
They're the local cafés, fresh fruit stands, hidden beaches, live music, and little detours that end up becoming your favourite memories.
That's the kind of adventure we love to share.
Sometimes the best part of the trip is doing absolutely nothing.
Just being here is enough. 🌲☕
