The best campsites on Vancouver Island are the ones you end up wishing you booked an extra night at.
Ocean views, beach campfires, slow mornings, and the kind of spots that make the drive completely worth it 🚐

Summer dates disappear faster than people think 👀🚐
We’ve only got a limited number of vans, and once the good weekends are gone… they’re gone. If you’ve been thinking about an Island road trip this summer, now’s the time to start planning ahead 🌲

Vanlife on Vancouver Island is a lot less “survival mode” and a lot more “why don’t we do this more often?” 🚐🌲
Honestly, it’s mostly just slowing down somewhere beautiful for a few days.

Seriously grateful for everyone who’s trusted us with their Island adventures. Reviews like this make all the behind-the-scenes work worth it.

3 easy Vancouver Island stops kids actually *lose their minds over* 👇🌲
1. River floats on hot summer days
Cold snacks. Warm sun. Zero complaints for at least 45 minutes. Legendary parenting moment.
2. Beach stops that turn into “just five more minutes.”
Driftwood forts, tide pools, sandy toes, and rocks somehow become treasure.
3. Short hikes with big rewards
Waterfalls, giant trees, secret lookouts. Tiny legs + maximum adventure payoff.
That’s the magic of Island road trips.
You don’t need packed itineraries or perfect plans, just a van, some snacks, and room to wander a little slower.🚐

Thinking about vanlife with kids?
Good news: you do not need to be hardcore campers to pull this off.
Most days look a little like:
coffee in hand
toys everywhere
random beach stops
snacks every 14 minutes
and one very happy little co-pilot
The best part?
Everything moves slower out here.
No rushing. No packed schedules. Just fresh air, ocean stops, campfires, and the kind of memories kids actually remember.
And honestly… the pop-top usually becomes the greatest fort of all time.
Vancouver Island was basically made for family road trips.

3 campsites. Ocean views. Zero bad mornings 🌊🚐
If your ideal Vancouver Island trip includes beach campfires, waves in the background, and waking up steps from the water… these spots are worth adding to the list.

This isn’t DIY vanlife.
You’ve got the van, fully set up and ready to go.
A proper kitchen setup so you can actually cook.
A route that makes sense.
A bed that’s ready when you are.
And support if you need it along the way.
No overthinking. No scrambling to figure things out.
Just a solid setup and a really good trip waiting!

We’ve been getting a few of the same questions this season, so figured we’d answer them here 👇
Do the vans have fridges?
Yep. Both vans got proper fridges this year. Cold drinks, real food, no ice juggling.
Can you adjust check-in and check-out times?
If there’s another booking that day, we stick to set times so everything runs smoothly for everyone. We try to keep it consistent so no one’s waiting around.
Is there a safe place to leave your vehicle?
Yep, you’re good to leave it with us while you’re out on the road.
Can kids come along?
Of course. Bring the whole crew. We’ve even got car seats if you’re coming from out of town and don’t want to pack one.
Is there a km limit?
150 km per day. You can spread it out however you want across your trip.
