A little peak of all the fun we've been having on the farm these last couple of weeks...

Edible Flowers! Not only are they pretty to look at 😍
Some are sweet, others are peppery. We dropped some off at Home Grown Market & Juice Bar this morning. Get yours and fancy up a salad, make flower ice cubes for your cocktail/mocktail or decorate a birthday cake. In our mix, you will find violet, calendula, nastursium, borage, stock, marigold...

It's been a busy spring! Spinach and Mixed Greens are slowing down as the weather warms up. This week will be our last Nakusp Farmer's Market presence for a bit. We will come back again in August with lots of produce and of course your favorite mixed greens ;) Throughout the summer you will be able to find our produce at Home Grown Market & Juice Bar.
Meanwhile, stop at our booth this weekend for our usual Spinach, Greens, Kale, Radish, Lettuce and another new exciting item: Our Stir Fry mix!! It has swiss chard, kale, bok choy leaves, teenage beets, purple turnips and a scallion...all in one bag!

Craving salad greens?! We'll be once again at the Old Firehall Market with our mixed greens, spinach, arugula, lettuce heads, radishes and a new mix that consists of of baby kale, beet greens and swiss chard greens. Tomorrow (Saturday) 10-2. See you there!

Come and get your fresh and locally grown Spinach, Mixed Greens, Arugula and Claytonia mixes at the Old Firehall Collective tomorrow from 10-2pm...and Radishes too!:)

Claytonia!! These heart shaped green leaves high in vitamin C, A and iron. Better known as Miner's Lettuce! Well...we grow them and we love them! Their mild flavour mixes really well with the more peppery green Arugula. Pick up a bag of this new mix (Arugula/Claytonia) at HomeGrown in Nakusp. Serve it sprinkled on pasta, layered in a sandwich or simply as a side salad.

Our greenhouse is in full salad production! Nights are still quite cold but everything is growing well. In 2 weeks our signature mixed salad greens will be ready to harvest. Exciting!
Also, you may have noticed that our spinach has been available for a few weeks now at HomeGrown market.
