Hi everyone! I figured it was time to properly introduce myself.
My name is Tristan Martin and I’m the owner of Marinetek Systems.
I graduated from Georgian College and am both ABYC Certified and a Garmin Certified Installer. My journey in the marine industry started when I was just 15 years old, working at a marina. But my passion for fishing started even earlier, when I was 6 years old, my dad took me fishing for the first time, and I’ve been hooked ever since.
At 16 years old, I bought my very first boat, a MirroCraft Laker 3673. Looking back, that boat was the beginning of a dream that has grown into what Marinetek Systems is today.
When I’m not meeting with clients or rigging boats, you’ll usually find me pre-fishing or competing in tournaments like the BaitFuel Fishing Tour alongside my dad, the owner of Tight Lines Tackle.
As Marinetek Systems approaches its first anniversary, I just want to say thank you. To my family, friends, clients, and everyone who has supported this journey, you’ve made this first year as a small business owner more rewarding than I could have imagined. Your trust, encouragement, and support have meant everything, and I truly couldn’t have done it without you.
