Polaris - ATV & Off-road vehicles. 15,000 sqft commercial project. Preparation included joint fillings & 2 coats of primer. An epoxy layer and flake system followed by 2 coats of polyaspartic to produce a smooth gloss finish.

Poxytech USA, our sister company covering the States, had the privilege to take on the renovation of The W Miami Hotel pool deck.
The renovation consisted of resurfacing 10,000 sqft of pool decks with cement terrazzo. To prep the area, we repaired all cracks with epoxy injection and removed all previous sealers and bond breakers. A big challenge of the project was bringing in the nearly 150,000 lbs of materials (cement, sand & aggregate) with a forklift through the only access point being the public beach boardwalk area. The terrazzo, which was all hand mixed, was a custom mix design of white Portland cement, special mason sand, super white aggregate and a custom additive. It was wet cured for 5 days with sprinklers, and allowed to hydrate for another 16 days before grinding. The terrazzo was then grouted with a custom cementitious grout and densified. The terrazzo was cleaned and sealed with 2 coats of penetrating sealer. The end result was a timeless all white terrazzo with black strips, a Miami classic to complement the award winning terrazzo in the interior.
