DIY Bathroom Makeover — EP. 5 ✨ sharing the painted striped pattern I created using 🤍 I definitely need to touch up some of the stripes to straighten them out but I need a little break from the stripes lol. Picked up some thrifted decor & some more Etsy finds arrived for the bathroom, can’t wait to show you!

DIY Bathroom Makeover — EP.4 ✨When I tell you these stripes have been a labour of love…free handing this pattern with frog tape is not for the weak 😂 In retrospect, I would definitely get a laser for accuracy. My method was to place a piece of painter’s tape in between each stripe, then remove it to create the pattern. It took forever and I did this over multiple days, don’t let the short reel fool you! Everything’s painted now and I am very happy for this part of the project to be over lol. Some cute Etsy finds came in which I’ll share with you tomorrow as well as the painted stripes reveal. I also built an cabinet myself for extra storage and I think you will get a kick out of me putting it together lol. Lots to come & appreciate those of you who checked in on me on my mini hiatus, life is super busy right now and I honestly just needed a breather. Happy to be back and to jump right back into sharing this project with you all 🤍 Hope you have a wonderful week!

DIY Bathroom Makeover — EP.3✨ Painted the lower half of the bathroom in “Royal Orchard” by 🤍 I ended up using a paint pad for quite a bit of the lower half — it’s such a simple hack that will save you so much time! I’ll link the exact one I got from in my stories. Super inexpensive! Next up, I’ll be painting the top half of the bathroom in “Swiss Coffee” & then laying down frog tape to prep for painting a striped pattern. Hope you’ve been enjoying the series so far!

DIY Bathroom Makeover — EP. 2 ✨ I’m calling this episode “masking film gate” 😂 I used this pre-taped masking film in my last paint project & figured I would use it again. Well…I forgot how much of a headache it can be lol but eventually we got there! Up next, painting 🤍

DIY Bathroom Makeover — EP.1 ✨So excited to be starting this series! I’ll be taking you along each step of making over my “landlord special” bathroom on a budget. I will be painting the entire space with “Royal Orchard” and “Swiss Coffee” by 🤍 New hardware is coming from and I also found some inexpensive wall cabinets from to replace the open shelving with close storage. Lots to come & can’t wait to take you all along!

DIY mirror frame ep. 3 🤍 Mirror reveal! This was such a fun project and a new challenge to take on. I used to see mirrors at such high price points and think “one day” — girly pop, there is no one day! You can do it yourself today👩🏽‍🎨 I hope you’ve enjoyed this mini series as much as I’ve enjoyed creating it. As always, thanks for following along on all of my crazy diy ideas! I’m continuing to tackle the bathroom makeover this week & will start sharing that project with you all next week — stay tuned ✨

DIY mirror frame ep. 2 🤍 After staining the trim, the next part of the process was to superglue each piece to the mirror. You have to do this ever so slowly as superglue is very unforgiving lol. I also decided to stain some wood medallions for the corners of the mirror as well as a larger medallion for the top of the mirror. Getting the colour just right requires a lot of patience but the results are so worth it! Can’t wait to show you the mirror reveal in part 3…stay tuned ✨

DIY mirror frame ep. 1 🤍 I found this frame forever ago in my local Buy Nothing Group on FB. It was free and I figured I could DIY a frame for it. Then life got busy and it sat unfinished for a long time…but long time no more! Sharing the first part of the process which definitely requires patience, but I think the results are beautiful. Looking forward to sharing the next part of the process with you all!
