6 years ago today I got to perform the most important ritual of my life and marry the most wonderful, thoughtful, generous, clever, fascinating, beautiful, and fun person I've ever known. Thank you so much for agreeing with me that one day in bed that getting married would be the easiest way to spend our lives together. I love you so much! 💕

Because in truth, it was only the beginning of my real life, my real power in this love that holds me up,

and dries the tears that you once caused.
