It’s never done.

Summer holds me in the in-between, not quite broken but not fully healed. Not lost yet not fully found, just moving through heat and shadow. Learning that joy can sit beside loneliness, desire doesn’t erase doubt. That being too much and not enough can both be true at once.

Maybe that’s where the beauty lives? In the blur, in the reckoning, in the way transformation creeps quietly instead of announcing itself, like dusk folding over the sky, like a song that makes you dance and ache at the same time.

Like a kiss, a kiss that feels both escape and a return.

That’s where everything changes.
