Carl’s current 1:16.613 PB with the Gr.4 86 at Big Willow. It was his third day on this track, and there’s so much time left on the table! Very excited about GT Sport, and he hopes racing on this platform will translate to real life improvements.⠀

Steering wheel Saturday! Is that even a thing? Just slapped this on Carl’s BRZ, grip already feels fantastic. Can’t wait to try it out at Ridge in September!

Forgot to post a PB update for Carl’s BRZ at Mission Raceway Park, so here it is!
T1 felt perfect, but T2 feels wrong (it can carry more speed mid corner, my entry line is wrong in some way) and T7-8-9 feels so slow now according to GPS data. I think I have a 1:20 in me, but the BRZ won’t be going to Mission again without some serious upgrades, so it will be hard to compare! There was a noticeable lack of grip compared to previous track days, I think the tires are finally starting to drop off, with about 50 heat cycles on them already.

Happy front end Friday to everyone else, because snap oversteer took away my front end.....
Body kit is finally getting paint matched and the oil cooler is going on in the meantime.

First time at the ridge and it was an unbelievable experience. Looking at all the amazing photos by of all the amazing cars and I MUST RESIST MODDING 😭 Just a few more months and I will make some major changes.

PSA: don’t use the black side vented OEM battery if you plan to do some high-G corners. Our data shows it spills at around 1.1 G.........................................
We’ve been using the white OEM battery out of the FRS for now, until we find a robust lightweight solution!........................................

New PB! Missed the apex on T1. Skidded the exit on T2, too narrow of a line exiting T9, and left off the throttle for the Miata at the long straight. I think I can manage a 1:21 next time! New optimum is 1:21.31.
