I am a licensed Embalmer and Funeral Director who also happens to create unique memorial items. I also do castings for the living and deceased.

I believe in death care education and want to help as many people as I can on this taboo subject - DEATH

Some pins I found at my funeral home…morticians have to have sense of humours in order to do what we do everyday 🖤

During a recent trip back east, I was able to finally see my great grandparents graves. A piece of us and a piece of our history. Cemeteries. Places we can visit forever đź–¤

It’s been awhile…but I’m back. I’m at a new funeral home in Maple Ridge and I am casting again as well. Summer is finally here! Enjoy this beautiful day! 🖤

Memorial Tattoos. This isn’t a memorial tattoo. This is my mom’s writing and something she wrote to me in a card. My mom is alive and very well…and I wanted her to see this! Many memorial type tattoos are done after someone cannot see them anymore. I wanted my mom to see this…for many years to come ❤️ “relax and enjoy the day my sweet daughter”. That’s the best advice ever. We rush so much in life. We don’t “stop to smell the roses”. I have anxiety and my mom is who I call when it’s bad. Her words will forever be on me…as a reminder…to calm down and breathe ❤️

My instruments of the trade. I will be holding a death education seminar at my funeral home in the very near future…you can hear about what I do in the embalming room amd learn about many other death care related things. An interesting and educational evening for all! Stay tuned!

Have you ever wondered what embalming chemicals look like? These are most of the chemicals I use on a daily basis. The colour of the fluid does not mean that will be the colour of the decedent…each chemical does something different, whether it be for disinfection, releasing clots, water corrector, cauterizing, preservation, hydration…it’s chemistry, it’s biology, it’s art…it’s embalming.
