Stride had the privilege of visiting HART Hub Brampton, a multi-agency program delivering integrated mental health, addictions, housing, and primary care supports, all under one roof. The HART Hub model brings together community partners to offer coordinated, low-barrier, wrap-around services that improve quality of life and reduce barriers to care.

Stride believes in the transformational power of work to reconnect people to purpose, belonging, and possibility.

We were grateful to connect with the Hub’s interdisciplinary team; through collaboration, strong services become powerful systems of change. By leveraging our collective expertise, employment can be integrated as a central pathway to health and recovery.

Such a great day building tools for brighter days 💛

Our Young Adult Program yesterday held their in-person Creating Your Personal Self-Love Kit program, designing their own self-love kits - filled with affirmations, coping tools, encouraging reminders, and small joys. Together we reflected on self-compassion, celebrated our strengths, and explored what truly helps us feel supported during difficult moments.

Stride was honoured to receive Fedcap’s Award of Excellence as the winner of the In-Work Support Exchange Competition!

We are also incredibly proud of Ashley Soares for being recognized as one of the Front-Line winners!!!

This competition highlights the important work that Stride and Fedcap Canada collaborate on every day to support job seekers in securing and maintaining meaningful employment. We are grateful for this partnership and proud of the impact our team continues to make!

Nonprofits are woven into daily life. Across Ontario, nonprofits deliver essential programs that communities depend on every day. They offer recreation and wellness activities, provide shelters and mental health supports, create spaces for arts and culture, and help newcomers and families access services.

This week and beyond we celebrate nonprofits’ constant support and commitment to showing up, alongside nonprofit staff who make it all possible.
