I just cast my vote in this important federal election.

Wishing all the candidates who put their names forward for Burlington North—Milton West the very best. It takes great dedication and courage to serve the community.

A sincere thank you to the hundreds of volunteers who put in countless hours to support this democratic process, to Elections Canada for their efficient voting arrangements, and to the organizations that arranged debate platforms and forums, giving candidates the opportunity to present their points of view and helping voters make informed choices.

No matter the results, today we celebrate the strength of our democracy!
