What a day! 🇨🇦 I’m wearing the jersey tonight to celebrate TWO massive Canadian team achievements!
First, McDavid and Team Canada kicking off the Olympics with a 5-0 shutout win!
Second, the launch of Le Pois right here in Lethbridge!
Christine Lewington and her team at PIP International are the definition of Canadian ingenuity. As Christine said tonight, this is true value-added success—taking a bag of peas and turning it into something worth thousands. Their new skincare line uses albumens to heal and protect, and it’s happening right in our backyard.
Check them out at www.lepois.com and tell the Kardashians it all started here! 😉

Support our local stars this weekend! 🐰🍄
There is something special about the energy of an opening night. Last night was the premiere of Alice in Wonderland at Chinook High School, and the dedication these students have put in over the last few months really showed!
I’ve always believed that the arts are about so much more than just a performance. They are where our kids learn to be brave, how to work together, and the value of seeing a big project through to the end. I still remember the impact Missoula Children's Theatre had on me back in elementary school—it’s where I first learned the skills that have served me throughout my career.
It’s a family-friendly production and a great way to support the next generation of Lethbridge leaders.
The three final shows run tonight through Friday at 7pm in the Chinook High theatre. Tickets and details here:

The engine of Lethbridge’s growth isn’t government—it’s local business. 🏗️ Great reminder from the Lethbridge Chamber of Commerce.
We often talk about "Shopping Local" as just a nice thing to do, but from an economic perspective, it’s actually a critical growth strategy for our city. 🏙️
Every dollar you spend at a local Lethbridge business stays right here—circulating through wages, supplies, and taxes. 💸 That local tax base is exactly what funds the roads, parks, and services we all rely on. 🛣️🌳
If we want a bigger, better city, it starts with backing the businesses that are already building it. 🤝
When you choose local, you are investing in the people, passion and businesses that make Lethbridge thrive. Every purchase, every visit and every recommendation helps strengthen our local economy and build a more vibrant community for all.
Join us in supporting the businesses that make Lethbridge home.

Infrastructure isn't just about concrete. It's about keeping our entire city moving. 🛑
If you’ve been following the news out of Calgary this week, you’ve likely seen the headlines about the independent report on their water crisis. The verdict? "Chronic underinvestment" over the last 20 years.
It’s a tough lesson: Ignoring infrastructure challenges doesn't save money—it just delays the problem until it becomes a crisis.
This is exactly why the conversation about a Third Bridge is critical for ALL of Lethbridge.
We often think of this as just a "West Side" issue, but it’s actually a City-Wide vulnerability.
We rely heavily on Whoop-Up Drive as our primary artery. When it chokes, the whole system fails. Traffic backs up onto Scenic Drive, emergency responders get delayed, and businesses across the city lose access to staff and customers.
Calgary’s water situation is a warning. It shows us what happens when a growing city waits for an emergency to build the backup plan.
We need to secure our city's future before we need it, not after.
When Whoop-Up Drive is shut down or congested, the ripple effects hit every corner of town. How does that bottleneck impact your commute or your business? Let's talk about it. 👇

2025 was a year of curveballs and adversity, but looking back, it was also the year that connected me with so many incredible people in our community.
The grey hairs? Those are just new stripes earned. 😂📈
Adversity clarifies what matters. For me, it confirmed that I’m more committed than ever to serving and celebrating this city.
To everyone who shared a conversation, a coffee, or a word of encouragement this year—thank you. 🙏✨
Here’s to building something great in 2026. 🚀

Know anyone who would be a key piece to one of the biggest attractions in Lethbridge?

It was such a special moment to experience the very first Christmas concert at Lethbridge's newest school! West Coulee Station, new home of the elementary grades of the Spanish Bilingual program, hosted just shy of 1,000 family members of all the talented students for the concert and the sneaker ball (where my own daughter in Grade 5 confirmed I still can't line dance to save my life 😂).
Thank you to everyone for the festive night and congratulations! 🎅🏻⛄❄️🎄🎁

With the official election results now confirmed, I want to extend my sincere congratulations to Mayor Blaine Hyggen on his re-election. While the outcome wasn't what we hoped for (with Mayor Hyggen receiving 7,365 votes and our campaign earning 6,476), I am incredibly proud of the positive, issues-focused campaign we ran and deeply grateful for the thousands of Lethbridge residents who put their trust in our vision for change.
This election brought critical conversations to the forefront – the urgent need for fiscal accountability, the debate around critical infrastructure like the third bridge, and the importance of ensuring City Hall is transparent and responsive to all citizens. These challenges remain, and I sincerely wish Mayor Hyggen and the newly elected council wisdom and success as they navigate the important work ahead over the next four years.
In particular, I want to proactively wish Mayor Hyggen well as he continues his advocacy for improved healthcare access in our city – a crucial issue that impacts every family in Lethbridge.
Thank you again to my incredible team, my family, and every single person who supported this campaign with their time, energy, and vote. Your passion for Lethbridge is inspiring. While this chapter closes, my commitment to serving this community remains steadfast.
Onward.
