Strawberry skin can be caused by a few things. When having a hot shower your pores open up and if you shave with a dull razor it can produce ingrown hairs. Both things cause the pores too look enlarged over time causing the look of “strawberry skin”.
Shaving often can also cause an overproduction of oil which leaves the pores open even after shaving.
Lastly the hairs may be having a hard time breaking through the skin, causing irritated bumpy, red and even darkened looking pores!
