Holy Trinity Academy ( ) students spent the year learning beyond the classroom through the Woodlot Operations Learning Foundation (WOLF) Forestry and Wildlife CTS program.

Through hands-on experiences and field-based learning, students explored forestry, wildlife conservation, environmental stewardship, outdoor survival, and potential career pathways while earning valuable CTS credits.

A special thank you to WOLF and Alison Struth of In & Beyond the Classroom for helping make this opportunity possible. We are grateful for the meaningful learning experiences provided to our students and look forward to continuing this partnership in the future.

Teaching in a rural community can make a lasting difference, and it may also help reduce your student loan debt.

Through the Government of Canada’s Student Loan Forgiveness Program, eligible teachers working in rural or remote communities may receive up to $30,000 in federal student loan forgiveness over five years.

At STAR Catholic Schools, all of our school communities, with the exception of Leduc, are considered eligible rural communities under the program criteria.

Our educators are part of faith-filled school communities where strong relationships, meaningful work, and professional growth come together.

Learn more about eligibility and how to apply by searching “Canada Student Loan Forgiveness”.
