This repeat clients very large and very old hydrangeas fell off their house. Got it prepped and painted before they put it back up 🙂

This is one of the most challenging parts of my job. Scheduling outside work. And my favourite project to do is staining a deck 🙂
On Thursday last week we were getting a storm on Saturday (yesterday) and that was it. Clear skies all week. So I pressure washed and prepared a few projects for this coming week.
Now? It’s currently raining and I have 3 decks that I CANT do this week at all. I have Monday that I can do exterior painting but I CANNOT stain a deck.
Decks need 24-48 hours of clear sunny skies before applying the stain. Then it needs 1-2 days of clear weather for me to actually apply the product. THEN it needs 48 hours after to dry out.
It requires 4-7 days of beautiful weather for 1 deck to get done. I usually try to schedule as many decks as possible together so everyone can get done in a timely manner, but Mother Nature doesn’t always like to cooperate. What does this mean? It means ALL clients are put on hold (as I go in order of booking) and it means I’m not working this week, but doing double or triple time to catch up when the weather does cooperate

The chair ensemble was hand built by this clients late husband, she hadn’t trusted anyone to restain them before. I felt very heartfelt that she entrusted such an important piece to me ❤️

Can’t see much difference as we did a colour match. We’ve been working on this one on and off since last month trying to work around the weather and other projects but it’s finally done!
There was SOOOO much scraping, grinding, priming to do before we could even apply paint. But a good preparation is key to ensure proper adhesion and longevity

The new homeowners aimed to design a serene and neutral environment that would provide an ideal backdrop for vibrant artwork and furniture pieces.

With the right product and colour all of these walls only took 2 coats to cover those bold colours! 💪 no primer needed
