Caliber Projects is looking to hire a Site Safety Officer to join our construction team in the Fraser Valley.
This role is ideal for someone passionate about creating safe, organized, and productive job sites. If you are a hands-on safety professional who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys working alongside site teams to build a strong safety culture, this could be a great fit.
You will be doing things like:
🔹 Conducting site inspections, identifying risks, and supporting corrective actions
🔹 Leading safety orientations, toolbox meetings, and safety communications
🔹 Ensuring safety documentation, training records, and certifications are up to date
🔹 Supporting first aid response and incident reporting when required
🔹 Maintaining organized jobsites with proper signage, PPE, and safety equipment
🔹 Working with employees, sub-trades, and site leadership to reinforce safe work practices
We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has 2+ years of construction experience with a strong understanding of site safety practices
✔ Holds Advanced First Aid certification
✔ Is organized, detail-oriented, and confident communicating with teams onsite
✔ Takes ownership and leads by example
✔ Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and construction technology such as Procore or Salus

This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment and enjoys keeping projects organized, moving forward, and aligned. If you are a hands-on problem solver who takes ownership, communicates clearly, and enjoys working alongside project teams, trades, and consultants, this could be a great fit.
You will be doing things like:
🔹 Coordinating project activities, schedules, documentation, and site requirements
🔹 Supporting Project Managers and Site Supervisors to keep projects moving forward
🔹 Communicating with consultants, sub-trades, suppliers, and project stakeholders
🔹 Managing project documentation, drawings, permits, meeting minutes, and project records
🔹 Supporting quality control, safety requirements, and construction processes
🔹 Tracking project details, resolving issues, and helping maintain organized job sites
We are looking for someone who:
✔ Has 2+ years of construction experience in wood frame, commercial, or similar environments
✔ Is organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
✔ Communicates clearly and builds strong relationships with project teams and partners
✔ Takes ownership and approaches challenges with a problem-solving mindset
✔ Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and construction technology such as Procore
