Big Fun Under The Sun

{Earl Grey Bitters} 12.00

This cocktail is incredibly delicious! And so simple to make, once you have the lilac syrup prepared.
Lilac Gin Sour.

2 ounces gin
3/4 ounce lemon juice
1.5 ounces lilac simple syrup
1 egg white

Dry shake all ingredients. Add ice and shake again well. Double strain into a coupe glass with no ice, or into a rocks glass with a large cube.

Garnish with a dash (6-8 drops) of Earl Grey bitters and some lilac flowers (fresh or dried).

{Aromatic Bitters} 12.00
OLD FASHIONED.

1 sugar cube
15-20 drops Aromatic Bitters
2 ounces rye or bourbon
Orange rind

In a mixing glass soak a sugar cube with bitters around 15-20 drops. Muddle the sugar cube ( if you don’t have a muddler you can use the end of a wooden spoon )

Add enough ice to fill your mixing glass about halfway and then pour in the bourbon. Or rye if that is your preference.

Stir until the glass gets cold to the touch. Strain into a rocks glass over 1 large cube of ice. Regular cubes will work as well, but they melt faster and will dilute the cocktail.

Twist an orange rind over the top of the drink, and lightly rub over the rim of the glass. Drop the rind into the cocktail or position on the rim of the glass.

Fun Fact: The original name of this cocktail was Whiskey Cocktail, which changed to Old-Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail, and then shortened to just Old Fashioned.

These little flowers are all over my backyard. I’m not sure what they are, and even if they are a w**d, I love them.

{Cinnamon Liquorice Bitters} 12.00

Golden Pear

1.5 oz bourbon5 oz lemon
1 oz maple simple syrup
2 oz pear nectar
15 drops or 2 dashes of Cinnamon Liqourice bitters

Wet half a glass with water and then roll in cinnamon sugar. Shake all ingredients over ice, then double strain into the glass.

Garnish with a pear slice and dehydrated or fresh lemon wheel.

(Maple Simple Syrup: 2 parts maple syrup, 1 part water)

{Chocolate Bitters} 12.00

I’m trying to keep the cocktail ideas simple... this one is a bit more intensive but so worth it!

Pineapple Paradise

Muddle 2 heaping tablespoons of chopped fresh pineapple

Pour the following over the pineapple:
1.5 oz spiced rum (Bacardi Oakheart)5 oz coffee liquor (Tia Maria)
2 oz coconut pineapple juice
15 drops chocolate bitters

Shake all the ingredients over ice. Then double strain into a large rocks glass. Garnish with coconut cubes or shavings and pineapple leaves.

Chocolate Negroni 75 gin75 Campari75 sweet vermouth 25 Creme de Cacao
3 dashes Chocolate bitters

Stir all the ingredients over ice in a mixing glass. Then strain into a double rocks glass. Garnish with orange rind.

(Dashes are approximately 6-8 drops, but adjust according to taste)
