Flamborough Family Fun Run

Thanks to everyone for supporting the Second Annual Flamborough Family Fun Run in support of Food4Kids in Waterdown. With your participation and generous donations, we raised over $5500 today to support kids dealing with food scarcity in our local community.

Thanks as well to Kaley from KJ's Transformation Fitness for helping with the warm up and encouraging our participants. And for the folks from The Waterdown Museum of Hope.

This morning was the first Food4Kids 5KM Walk/Run event by the Rotary Club of Flamborough AM. Lots of cheerful faces happy to find a healthy way to raise money for Food4Kids Waterdown. I didn't know that 4 of the 8 or 9 schools here in Flamborough have kids that don't have enough food to eat over the weekends.
