Let’s talk about my monthly mini milestone sessions. Because the first year? It flies by! These monthly mini sessions are a way to slow it down. We’ll capture the tiny changes, the everyday magic, and the evolving rhythm of your home life. They include:
🏡 a 30-minute at-home session each month for 13 months (from your bump to their first birthday)
📸 10+ photos per session (we’ll make sure a couple of these are done with a consistent background like a white sheet)
🍼 At-home mini’s are exclusively available in this bundled plan
These short, relaxed sessions document your baby’s growth in a natural, stress-free way. We’ll be so used to seeing each other that it’ll feel like I’m just popping over for a cup of tea and a chat ☺️ Except you’ll get gorgeous photos of you and your baby at the end of it!
This is also the only way to book at-home minis moving forward. I need that warm-up time for the best photos in your home and, with this package, we won’t need it! We’ll already be comfortable (your baby will see me every month since they were born!) so we’ll flow right into documenting your real, everyday moments.
These packages start at $3250 and can be paid upfront or in monthly installments ($250/month for 13 months) ✨

I know I post a lot about family photos but I absolutely LOVE doing couple sessions! They’re so silly and playful and romantic 🥰 I think we spend a good 80% of these sessions giggling our asses off—and the other 20% is the couple having these gorgeous moments while I fade into the background. It’s such an honor to witness (and document) so many unique and special love stories 🥹
More from this gorgeous engagement session coming soon!

THIS! This is why family photos are important. I don’t think I could put the way I feel when I see my childhood photos into words 🥹
I think it has something to do with seeing my childhood self explore the world. Seeing myself be loved so obviously by my family! There’s something so identity affirming about it.
So here’s your reminder to take tons of photos of your kids! And of you with your kids! And to PRINT THEM OFF because looking through photo albums together is such a special, connecting experience 😌

Welp. This year is flying by! There’s so much in my heart (and on my to-do list) for 2025 and I guess it’s time to get on with it 😅 I’m thinking about:
✨ Going camping — this is always on my list yet I so rarely go
✨ Playing with my new lens — wow oh wow does it focus so much better!
✨ Working with film again? — Maybe? It’s my greatest love/hate/heartbreak… but it’s calling me once again 🙃
✨ Family photos on/in the water on a gorgeous sunny day — whether that be the beach, lake or pool
✨ Booking 2+ milestone bundles — info on these bundled sessions coming soon 🤩
✨ Doula training — I’ve decided to dive into full-spectrum doula work! I want to train ASAP so I can start working on the certification requirements by the end of the year 😌 I’ve been thinking about this for years (since I started doing at-home family photos) but the idea scared the absolute s**t out of me 😅 Now, I feel like the calling is so much louder than the fear. And aren’t all things worth doing at least a little bit scary?
✨ Picking up work on Hellfire again — now that the sun is back and the snow is melting, I’m ready to dive back in 😈🔥 I have so many ideas ready to explode out of me!! This project has been so wonderful for getting my rage out of my body and into a creative space. It makes room for all of the good stuff!! Speaking of…
✨ Focusing on LOVE 💗 — in my work and in my life. There’s so much noise out there and I want to live and breathe what really matters!
What are you dreaming up for 2025?

Family life moves fast—but your photos don’t have to. My 4-hour at-home sessions are designed to be slow, natural, and fully in the moment. No rushing, minimal posing! Just real connections and real memories.
Whether it’s a cozy morning routine, playtime in the backyard, or a walk through your favorite neighborhood spots, this session lets your family be yourselves while I document it all ☺️
The families I work with love these sessions because there’s:
🍓 time to settle in, get comfy & forget the camera is there
🍓 space for snack breaks, playtime, tons of cuddles, outfit changes & quiet moments
🍓 a mix of candid storytelling + natural portraits

I spent WAY too much time researching marketing for photography 🤦🏼
Sure, this was helpful knowledge to have. But, if I’m being honest here, the real reason I got hung up on this for so long was that I was nervous to cross it off the list and move forward. I kept saying it’s because actually “marketing” my art feels weird to me—which it does—but it’s really because I feel vulnerable sharing my art. And I let that fear completely paralyze me.
I think that’s something most of us can relate to… right? Putting your dream “out there” is scary. There’s so much room for failure and rejection, even if it’s self-perceived. It’s much more comfortable to tell yourself you are taking action while you’re really just playing small.
What’s that going to accomplish? Not much. Instead, I’m diving in and taking REAL action because that’s the only way to see REAL progress!

Is your little one not in the mood for photos? That’s no problem at all! Your child is allowed (and encouraged!) to set boundaries and I’ll never force them to be in photos. But by the end of the session? They’re usually enthusiastically engaging without even realizing it 😉
I use patience, play, and creativity to make sessions feel fun and natural. Instead of jumping into poses, I:
📷 Show them my camera and then let them show me how their favorite toy works
📷 Bring a kid-friendly camera so they can take their own photos
📷 Give them small ways to direct the session and feel in control of their environment
📷 Try to keep my camera at chest level so they can see my eyes. This is a hard one for me on a technical front, especially when babies are on the move, BUT it makes a HUGE difference for getting your kids comfortable and looking toward the camera
And if they still want space? That’s okay too! Some of the best photos happen when kids seek comfort in your arms or are just being themselves, completely unaware of the camera.
If your child is naturally hesitant around new people, let me know in advance! I can suggest ways to help them warm up before I even arrive. And for extra flexibility, a longer session (at least 2 hours) gives them time to settle in at their own pace. That way I can ease them into the process slowly and have more time to build up their trust.
