Pilot project testing tech to help vision-impaired pedestrians use crosswalks | CBC News Municipalities on the Northeast Avalon are testing new technology to increase the safety and ease of using crosswalks for people with disabilities including sight loss.
Last week was the fifth national meeting of the Gender Equality Network of Canada. We are proud to have our CEO Sophie Aladas represent Key2Access and YES Montreal, as one of the 150 women leaders discussing gender equality in Canada. Take a look at how she answers the important question: "What is our commitment to the inclusion of marginalized women?" from the perspective of a female entrepreneur...with an accessibility twist of course!

Stratford launches pilot project to make crossings safer for pedestrians with disabilities The City of Stratford, the CNIB Foundation, and tech company Key2Access are making pedestrian crossing in the city’s downtown safer for people with disabilities through a new pilot project.

Lethbridge testing speaker system for people who are visually impaired Some downtown Lethbridge intersections are looking and sounding a little different. The city is taking part in a trial project to help those with visual impairments cross the street safely.
