Summer does not remove the need for support.

In many workplaces, it exposes where support is missing.

People are away. Schedules shift. Businesses get busy. Offices, clinics, shops, events, and community services still need things to keep moving. 🗓️
That is where temporary help matters.

It helps people find you when they need flexible, local support. 🤝

TE is still new, and we are still filling the room.

But the room only starts to work when people begin showing up. 💜

Temporary Experts SE is open, and this is the part where we need to help people understand what TE is, how it works, and where they fit.

A networking platform only starts to work when people know it is there.

Then the first profiles are created. The first listings go up. Someone sees a service they need, or a person they know, or an opportunity they want to share. Little by little, the room starts to fill and people can begin finding each other.

That is the stage we are in now.

So over the next little while, we will be sharing more about creating profiles, adding listings, posting opportunities, and using TE as a place for flexible work, practical help, events, courses, services, and community connection.

Not to flood people.

Just to help get the word out while the platform is new.

🔑 The key to your next opportunity on TE is your LISTING.

Creating an account is the first step, but your listing is what lets people find you and see what you are offering. It is likely what people will see first. Your profile helps them understand the person or business behind it once they click through.

A listing can be a service, a skill, short-term help, project support, labour, admin work, creative work, consulting, training, seasonal help, an event, a course, a workshop, or something practical that a business or community organization may need. It can also be more than one thing.

For example, someone as an Expert might list that they are available for a few hours of admin help, gardening support, event setup, bookkeeping, delivery help, or seasonal labour.

A solopreneur as an Expert might list a service they already offer, a workshop they are running, a course, consulting support, creative work, or a short-term package that a business could book.

It does not have to be complicated, and it does not have to be perfect. Start with one thing. One service you can offer.

TE works when people can see who is there and what they are bringing with them.
So if you have already created an account, thank you. The next step is to create your profile and add your listing.

That LISTING is how the right person may find you.

If you are a business or organization looking at Temporary Experts SE, you do not need to be hiring full-time to use the platform.

That is actually the point.

You might need someone for a few hours, a few days, a project, a season, a shift, an event, a cleanup, a delivery, a website update, admin support, creative help, labour, consulting, training, or something that has been sitting on the list for too long.

You can create a profile and hire someone... that easy!

You can also list a position, event, course, workshop, opportunity, or something you want the community to know about.

TE is being built for the space between “we need help” and “we need a full-time hire.”

That space is real.

And a lot of businesses are already living in it.

So if your business or organization has a short-term need, a flexible opportunity, or something to share, the next step is to create your profile and add your first listing.

If you have a bio written, a quality picture, and other descriptions you will need, it is quick and easy.

1. Create your account - you will receive a confirmation email to make sure you are human :).
2. Create your profile - a description of who you are, think bio.
3. Create your listing - Important!! It is what this networking was built for.

That listing is how people know what you can offer.

It could be a service, a skill, short-term help, project support, labour, admin work, creative work, consulting, training, seasonal help, or something practical that a business or community organization may need. It can be more than one!

It does not have to be complicated.

You do not need to have everything perfectly figured out before you start. You can begin with one thing you are able to offer, and build from there.

TE works when people can see who is in the room and what they are bringing with them.

The platform is now working, and we are ready for early profiles from experts, businesses, organizations, and community supporters.
