Marc Boily's 'Notes on Cinema' explores the films of John Ford, the master of the western and considered one of the best American directors, if not the best.
Ford began in the early days of the medium, directing his first film, The Tornado (1917), at age 23.
Unfortunately, much of Ford’s early work is believed to be lost, but he made over 100 feature films in his 50-year career.

Jordie Isaac is a visual artist based in Grande Prairie who attended Northwestern Polytechnic, earned a Diploma in visual arts and design, and is currently enrolled at the Alberta University of the Arts, working on a BFA in Fibre and Print Media.
In "System Deviance," Isaac developed the traditional star pattern and found ways to disrupt it with colour and movement, allowing the design to glitch beyond its usual borders and even pull yarn loops out of the surface.

Our day trip to Fort St John yesterday was a lot of fun! We were most excited to enjoy Big Print Day for the first time and watch members of Print Artists North making large scale prints using a road roller! Well done, everyone!
On this day of “Bright Nights in June”, we enjoyed the live music and the art market with handmade items. We spoke with members of the Fort St John Country Quilters and learned about their upcoming exhibition at the Peace Gallery North. “Seasons in the Peace” opening on July 3.
We saw “Ex Situ 2026” on display now at Peace Gallery North until June 27. This year is the 8th annual exhibition held during Filipino Heritage month.
We also made a quick stop at the Sudeten Heritage Park, just south of Dawson Creek, so Queen could stretch her legs at their dog park. 🐕🦺 *zoom-zoom!
