Today's agenda 💗

Root & Rouge has her very first sign. 🥹💋💄

And somehow, seeing it finished today — just in time for the Rooted in the County 75th Anniversary — gave me one of those quiet little moments that catches you right in the heart. ❤️

This sign has been a work in progress, and I’m so grateful to Peace Country Printery for their patience, care, and hard work in bringing it together with me. 🫶🏼

When I looked at it today, I didn’t really see a sign. I saw all the little steps that brought Root & Rouge here.

This little business came from very humble beginnings. I simply wanted to find a way to help my hubby make ends meet in an ever-changing economy, while creating something I truly loved and something that gave me the flexibility I needed.

Somewhere along the way, that little idea grew into something with so much meaning for me.

I wanted to create cosmetics differently — thoughtfully, simply, and rooted in nature. To give women beautiful botanical options made with ingredients I could feel good about, and to pour a little care and intention into every product I make.

There is still so much for me to learn, so much I hope to grow, and I’m incredibly grateful for every single person who has purchased something, stopped by my table, shared a post, encouraged me, or simply believed in what I’m trying to build.

So today, seeing this sign standing there… I had big emotions ~ not because it’s a big sign...but because of everything it represents.

Grateful. Humbled. And still very much rooted in where it all began. 🫶🏼
