Tuff Dreger Racing Team is hiring for the upcoming Wagon Season

We will be travelling all over Alberta and parts of BC on the World Professional Chuckwagon Association circuit. If you like horses, meeting new people and seeing new places this will be the perfect job for you. We are looking to hire one or two individuals to join our team on the road this summer. Position starts April 1st and runs until the end of August.

We are looking for:
* Hard working
* Fast paced
* Good at maintaining and following schedules
* Works well with others
* Love for animals
* Reliable

Your duties include, but are not limited to:

* Cleaning stalls
* Feeding hay, oats and water
* Grooming horses
* Washing harness, saddles and wagons
* Harnessing and saddling horses
* Hooking
* Help with set up and tear down of portable barns
* Hauling trailer down the road

Job Type: Full-time

Class 5 drivers license required

I am pleased to announce that I have received the invitation to perform as the 2026 Calgary Stampede Demo 101 Driver. I can not express how truly grateful and fortunate I am to receive this opportunity. I want to thank everyone who has helped me reach this point in my career, all the sponsors, friends, family and most importantly the horses. This is a life long dream and goal of mine and it is truly an honour to go around the same track that started my family’s legacy. I’m excited to see what the future holds! ✨ Throwback to one of my favorite highlights of the summer! ✨

I had the honour of hosting the UFA Rookie Racer Program at my barn in Strathmore, welcoming young rookie racers for a special behind-the-scenes look at the world of chuckwagons.

The kids had a chance to meet the horses up close, learn what goes into caring for them, and ask any questions. Moments like these are what it’s all about—passing on traditions, sparking inspiration, and showing the next generation what makes chuckwagon racing so special.

A big thank you to UFA for supporting programs that bring youth and community together.

That’s a wrap on the 2025 WPCA season. It was a great summer getting to race with great horses, good friends and amazing sponsors.

Day 2 in High River was one for the books! 🐴✨
From giving an unforgettable barn tour to the amazing kids from the YES Centre — sharing the history and heart of chuckwagon racing — to an action-packed night at the races, it was nothing but smiles and good vibes.

To top it off, I got to swap stories with the legendary Tim hunter and catch up with my good friend Chris Cederstrand. Racing, inspiring young minds, and connecting with incredible people… that’s what it’s all about. 🙌
