🏁 2025 SEASON REFLECTION – CHASE OAKES RACING 🏁

As we reflect on an incredible 2025 season, it’s hard not to feel grateful. We raced almost every weekend from June through September, making memories and gaining experience every lap along the way.

This year took us across three different dirt tracks in the Mini Sprint at Taylor Speedway, Hythe Motor Speedway and Flatlanders Speedway, plus some much-needed asphalt time in Edmonton Int'l Raceway and Medicine Hat Speedway. Every surface brought new challenges and lessons.

I’m proud to say we finished 3rd Overall in the Senior Division at Hythe Motor Speedway (dirt) and 3rd at Super Nationals, and I was able to stand on the podium twice in Edmonton in races I’ll never forget.

🏁 Track Testing Complete! 🏁

Today we rented out the track to get some much-needed testing done, and to break in my new engine ahead of tomorrow’s racing action at Edmonton Int'l Raceway with the #4 S.O.B Racing – Cinch Oilfield Hauling Ltd ,Evolution Cupcar Series Car.

We want to throw out a special thank you to Derek Hambly with Torque Tire for mounting our new American Racer tires last minute and making sure we were ready to roll for this weekend’s race. Couldn’t have done it without you! 🙌

We got some more work to do but were hoping to be dialed in and ready for tomorrows racing action. Swing by the track and check out the races! 🏆

🏁 We’re Heading East! 🏁

We had an opening in our schedule, so this weekend the S.O.B Racing Team - Cinch Oilfield Hauling Ltd Mini Sprint, is hitting the road to Flatlanders Speedway in Kindersley, Saskatchewan — and we’re bringing both cars with us the #4 and #04 Beau Oakes Racing.

We’re looking forward to traveling to a new track with some great friends Dio Matheson Racing and Swain Alayah Hackman.

It’s been a busy summer so far — with stops at Medicine Hat Speedway, Edmonton Int'l Raceway, Hythe Motor Speedway, Taylor Speedway and now Flatlanders Speedway!

For us, this goes beyond racing. Growing up in a racing family, this is our way of life. There’s nothing better than spending the week in the shop prepping, and then hitting the track for the speed, adrenaline, and memories on the weekends. Looking forward to meeting some new faces in Saskatchewan.

🔥 We’ve Got Some Catching Up to Do! 🔥

This summer has been non-stop — wrenching, tuning, and getting the cars race-ready for back-to-back-to-back weekends of action. It’s been busy, but it’s what we love. 🏁

On July 5–6, we had the honor of welcoming “Flying” Finn Medd from Medd Motorsports to pilot our 3rd Mini Sprint Dirt Car — the original orange #4, the one that started it all — at Hythe Motor Speedway.

Medd Motorsports has been a massive supporter of S.O.B Racing, and are the ones who gave Chase his first-ever ride in a Evolution Cupcar Series Mini Cup Car last season. So when the chance came up to return the favor, we jumped at it.

We got the orange rocket ready and turned Fin loose — and judging by the smiles and the photos, it’s safe to say he had a blast! 😄

This is what racing is all about — community, support, and giving young drivers a chance to chase their dreams. Huge thanks to the Medd family, our crew, and everyone who helps make weekends like this possible.

🏁 Edmonton Race Recap! 🏁

This weekend we hit the asphalt at Edmonton Int'l Raceway in the #4 Mini Cup Car. The day started off tough — the crew battled some engine gremlins early on, but they never stopped working. Thanks to their effort and determination, they gave me something I could drive.

When it was all said and done, we fought hard and brought home a 2nd place finish in Feature #2! 💪

Edmonton Season Opener Recap! 🏁

We kicked off our 2025 season at Edmonton Int'l Raceway this weekend — and it was an awesome way to get things started!

The Fan Appreciation session was a blast — signed some autographs, met some awesome fans, and got to chat with people who love racing as much as we do. Huge thanks to everyone who came by and showed support, including Auntie Meg and Uncle Chris.

We had a great showing in the heat race, and the car felt solid — but unfortunately, high winds forced the main event to be cancelled for safety.

Now we’re switching gears — from asphalt to dirt — as we head to Hythe Motor Speedway this upcoming weekend to run the Mini Sprint Car in the Sr Division in the season opener. Looking forward to slinging some dirt.

Maiden voyage in the books! 🏁

We took the #4 SOB Racing – Cinch Oilfield Hauling Ltd Mini Cup Car on a road trip over 9 hours to Medicine Hat Speedway this past weekend — our first time at that track and our first full season on asphalt!

This weekend was all about seat time and working out the bugs as we get ready for our opening race at Edmonton Int'l Raceway this weekend . The car felt great, was quick right out of the gate, and we had a strong showing overall.

Even better, I got to share the experience with my little brother Beau, who was racing alongside me (he just turned 8 last month!!). Tons of solid drivers out there who raced us clean all day — and it was awesome being surrounded by friends who all share the same passion for this sport.

Oh, and as a fun bonus… the "Whaaaaat No Way” guy was driving the pace car all weekend — pretty sweet touch! 😂
