After finishing a big project and before jumping into another one I like to reset with a couple of small things that work up quickly.

Life with two 2-year-olds is buuuuusy. Projects are much slower then they have been in my past life. BUT we're still chugging away.

Hey 🙋🏼‍♀️ we're still here... just hectic. Pretty sure I haven't crocheted in like 3 months 😩

Our choice to move and purchase the farm was definitely the right move for our family, but it meant leaving behind the kids nursery and starting fresh. We've been so busy settling in and just in general with life that we haven't yet had a chance to paint or really add many personal touches to their new room, but we're starting!

Still unsure on the total direction we're going for this room, but we know a few main points.... 🤷🏼‍♀️

Adding the ASL alphabet & 1-10 on their mirror was important to me. We try to sign with them throughout the day and ALWAYS when we read Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, which is one of their favorite books!

If you've read this far, thank you for pushing through my rambling 🥴 hopefully we can start creating some fun new things soon, we've got some ideas in the works. Until then, we're just a busy young couple trying to raise good humans 💙💜

If you've done/redone a nursery/toddler room.. how did you settle on the design? If you were to do it all over again, is there things you would do differently?

I love throwing up this sign for the season. This would also make a pretty great ugly Christmas sweater... Just sayin. 💁🏼‍♀️🎄

We've dubbed one of the walls in our home as the 'seasonal' wall. So of course I needed a Christmas themed item for it! 🎄🎄
