Charitable organisation helping any senior in Fort Nelson be able to enjoy the magic of Christmas!

Looking for a place for our elves!
Our elves are already prepping for this year! We are looking for cotton yarn for knitting dishcloths if you have any let Debbie know, [email protected]
Thank-you Fort Nelson!!
Santa has gone back home but before he left he wanted to make sure we didn't forget to thank Fort Nelson! It is hard to put into words the generosity and kindness the businesses and people in Fort Nelson gave to ensure the Seniors in Fort Nelson enjoyed a special visit from Santa Claus and his Elves in 2025. Mother Nature certainly made it probably the coldest delivery on record for Santa and his Elves this year, with temps starting at -50C on one of our delivery mornings.............brrrrr....but Santa and his Elves are a dedicated crew and there wasn't anything that would stop the delivery this year.
There were 252 Seniors on Santa's list this year. Santa is sorry if he missed anyone from previous years......he lost his list and the volunteers did everything possible to make sure nobody was missed but there were some who fell through the cracks. Please make sure you get hold of Debbie @ 250-321-3321 to make sure you are on the list for 2026. By the looks of the smiles on the faces and the hugs that Santa received, the Elves can report that Santa's visits were a big success this year. Spreading the JOY of the Christmas season and bringing the child out in all of us is what the Ryan Kerr Senior Santa Project is all about. Making sure nobody is forgotten in this season of JOY and GIVING. As a Senior, everyone deserves to be acknowledged for the hard work and dedication you have put into the community and so this is a way the community gives back to you.
We are already hard at work making sure the Ryan Kerr Senior Santa Project for 2026 will be just as joyful as it was in 2025. Thank you cards for all the businesses that donated to our cause will soon be in the mail to let you know how much you are appreciated. We couldn't do this project without your generosity. Individuals who donated will also receive a card of thanks. To those who dropped money into our Giving Jar, bought 50/50 tickets, donated to or bought items on our Online Auction or picked an ornament or 2 or 3 off our Giving Tree......absolutely everything went into making this project such a success. If we missed your business this year please put us into your budget for 2026.
I would like to thank all the volunteers who helped me over the 4 months we worked on this project when we started selling 50/50 tickets in August. Whether you helped sell 50/50 tickets, wrapped presents, collected Online Auction donations, set up the Online Auction for me, filled bags, sewed, knitted or crocheted items for the gift bags, designed and kept our page up to date, let your business be our drop off for Giving Tree donations, helped Santa with the delivery of all the gift bags.......everything you did made the Ryan Kerr Senior Santa Project the success it was and I am forever grateful.
I know in my heart that my Ryan was looking down with a big smile on his face and a heart so thankful that we made sure his passion lives on. With much gratitude and appreciation, Debbie Mitchell (Ryan's mother). XOXO
See you again soon!
