What an inspiring transformation Rakki has undergone! His trust has grown, and with it, a love for adventure and affection that's truly heartwarming, though he still exercises caution around unfamiliar men. Joy lights up his face with scritches, treats, and car rides, but his bowl remains his most cherished possession. Rakki's distinctive charm, rooted in his sweet and gentle nature, is a treasure. Looking to Rehome Two Dogs – Gus & Zion
It is with a very heavy heart that I am looking for a new home for my two dogs, Gus and Zion. They are father (Zion) & son (Gus) & best friends and would do better if they stay together.
Gus (1.5 years old) and Zion (3.5 years old) are Great Pyrenees, Newfoundland Retriever crosses. They are extremely friendly, energetic, gentle, and naturally protective of their family. They do well with other dogs, cats and kids. They love being outdoors and would thrive on a property with plenty of space to roam and explore.
The reason I am rehoming them is that they need a larger, more secure environment than I can provide. They have repeatedly figured out how to climb my fence, and despite my best efforts to keep them safely contained, I have not been able to prevent them from escaping short of chaining them in the yard which is not fair. I believe they would be happiest in a home with an acreage where they have more room and/or appropriate fencing for their size and intelligence.
This decision has not been made lightly, I want to find a responsible, permanent home where they can continue to thrive together.
If you are interested, please send me a message with some information about yourself, your home, and your experience with large-breed dogs. My priority is finding the right fit for Gus and Zion.
Please share to help these sweet boys find their perfect home.

⛔️ WARNING ⛔️ Graphic photo.
Heavy chains are NOT acceptable tie outs for dogs. The first picture is a chain that weighs more than the dog that was dragging it. The second picture is what excessively heavy chains can do to your dog, along with spinal injuries, nerve damage & sometimes irreversible injury to their esophagus & windpipe. Please ensure that if you are tying your dog out you are using an appropriate lead!

Crazy busy weekend!! Just got word this little dude has gone missing from Dene Etene. His name is Charlie, he’s just under a year old & skittish of people he doesn’t know. If you see him, his family misses him desperately & are worried! If spotted please contact Courtney at 780-255-7200, Virgil at 780-887-7939 or Sharon at 250-321-1125. The family would be extremely grateful to get their boy home.

Happy endings are our favourite!! These lovely girls rolled into Fort Nelson and decided to explore! An impromptu adventure led them to our place, where they met the dogs and got reunited with Jenna and Ben. After a quick bath to get them squeaky clean, they were off again. Nice meeting you guys, safe travels!
Big thanks to Ken Johnson of Pet Pa's Fort Nelson - MultiMenu Food & Accessories for the use of the store to help these folks out!

Is this your pup? He took himself to school & we’re trying to get him home. If he belongs with you please call 250-321-9003.
