Member of the Month: Dr. Kara Otuomagie

This month, we're proud to spotlight Dr. Kara Otuomagie, owner of Kinetic Living, a multidisciplinary health facility in Edmonton's Old Strathcona neighbourhood.

As a Chiropractor, wellness advocate, and community leader, Kara is passionate about helping others reach their personal and professional goals. Her commitment to community extends beyond her work in wellness—through her role with the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation and as the founder of Ladies Who Brunch, she has helped raise more than $200,000 to support improved technology and resources for the hospital.

We are inspired by Kara's dedication to wellness, leadership, and giving back to her community. Thank you, Kara, for all you do to help Edmonton thrive! 💛

Berekti Crapo is an entrepreneur, business owner and community builder. Channeling her passion for helping others as a Licensed Optician, she founded Eye Roll, a unique mobile optical service.

While doing this, she met wonderful women who inspired her to take a more prominent role in the local community. As a result, she is excited to also be serving as the Executive Director of the Edmonton Business Association, an organization which exists to support, connect, and champion small and medium-sized businesses across the city.

Berekti’s overarching mission is to foster people-focused networking, encourage women to have confidence in themselves, and create a welcoming space for all where businesses can thrive.
