May is Mental Health Awareness Month
The reality is, more women are feeling the weight right now:
• 50% say they’re more stressed than last year
• 1 in 4 are experiencing burnout
• 2 in 3 feel uncomfortable talking about mental health at work
• 1 in 4 Canadian women are struggling with their mental health
This isn’t just a statistic, it’s a call to action.
What can we do?
• Encourage open, honest conversations
• Support flexible, people-first policies
• Lead with empathy
• Make space for rest and recovery
At Lean In Edmonton, we believe leadership means creating environments where well-being is prioritized, not overlooked.
If you or someone you know needs support, you’re not alone:
📞 Alberta Mental Health Helpline: 1-877-303-2642 (24/7)
📞 Talk Su***de Canada: 1-833-456-4566 or text 45645
📞 Emergency: 911
Let’s continue to show up for one another, with compassion, understanding, & care.
