Every business has an origin story and Cwik was actually conceived in Chicago😅
Originally, we were in Chicago for the IFT FIRST (Food Technology) annual expo and it was in Milennium Park that we made the firm commitment to give birth to Cwik.
The goal was simple... build a community for stoners and foodies alike. Cwik strives to break the stigma against regular cannabis use and to provide a home for stoners who want to enjoy cannabis beverages in new ways.
As we continue to work towards our goal, we just want to thank you for being a part of our journey. We've got some exciting product launches for 2026 and we've got tons more creative content to keep you all entertained!
TLDR: Cwik was conceived in Chicago during a food tech conference for stoners who are as picky with their kush as they are with their food.

Entrepreneurs are the only people willing to work 80 hours a week to avoid working 40 hours a week for someone else.
AND I wouldn't have it any other way‼️
What we build is our little empire and it's all ours. So even when Alberta gets hit with a freak snowstorm, we'll always be ready to dust off the snow in the morning and keep going!

I never took advantage of using my sick days for every job I've ever had. Now with our own business, it feels even MORE dangerous to get sick.

Cwik: from pupils to teachers!
In our early days, Cwik’s founding team were students in the .business Ventures program, learning important lessons on how to grow a business, and medalling in the May 2025 Pitch Competition. The information we learned was vital in our growth, and recently, our team got to give back!
Philip, our Head of Sales, emceed the Business Pitch Competition. As well, our Head of R&D, Riri, and Marketing Head Dan provided feedback, coaching, and perspective to these budding entrepreneurs!
We were so honoured to be a part of this, proud of everything we learned, and eager to help build up our community!
