My site is now closed. Thanks to everyone who dropped by through the years.

So, I've been ramping things down on TekAdvisor lately. It's time to free up some of my time so I can move on to something else. It'll be a progressive process so feel free to visit if you are looking for a new computer. I'm still updating the site daily, but as sample sizes go down, the comparison engine will get less useful.

TekAdvisor's 7 Years old today!

It's been quite a journey, as I've been experimenting with different features as things went on, and I couldn't have foreseen the site would evolve to be what it is today.

Made good progress on the new site and I'm feeling really good about the new update workflow. I'm really looking forward to switching over.

I finally updated my gaming guide and the included calculator. You can now see how much next-gen consoles cost to play on compared to PCs, among other things.

With holiday shopping ramping up, I've spent most of my efforts on updating the current site. As a result, I probably won't have much to report on that front for the rest of 2020.

How's everyone doing? Here, despite a few delays, progress on the new site continues, and the front-end for device pages is pretty much feature-complete at this point. Time to shift my focus to the software section!

As a result, the number of active listings on the site's been shrinking as devices are sold out.
