Hello, my name is Dorcas Komo. I am the President and Creative Director of Blockbuster Experience (formerly known as Dorcas Komo Event Decor).

Blockbuster Experience is a contemporary design hub providing bespoke balloon and event styling to Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, and beyond. Blockbuster Experience operates a business-to-business (B2B) and a business-to-customer (B2C) model, servicing businesses and private individuals.

The Balloon styling/Event styling arm of our business offers signature balloon designs and installations. These designs are head turners and attention grabbers that add a pop of luxury to your events and products. Our balloons installations caters to corporate events including sporting events, show room designs, fashion shows and more. While we style weddings, birthdays and more for our private clients.

Our signature design includes our spatial balloon creations that push the borders of creativity, delivering unconventional designs that take our clients’ breath away. When working indoors we harness floors, walls, and ceilings as our bases. And while designing outdoors, we explore every possibility nature presents, and sculpt away. Where those are not available, we create our own.
