From the Calgary Stampede to our 40th anniversary gala, 40PROOF, including a full brand refresh and new website. OpenCircle Contractors Association made amazing memories and monumental progress in the month of July.

The OpenCircle Contractors Association team had a great time participating at the Edmonton Construction Association’s Young Builders Group tournament last week. 🏌‍♀️

It is always great to connect with members of the construction industry, even better when the weather is amazing. Looking forward to the next one! ⛳

The OpenCircle Contractors Association team had a wonderful time at the Red Deer Construction Association’s WomenBuild tournament last week.
It’s always wonderful to take the time to connect with the women in our industry over an afternoon of golf ⛳️ Our team spent their time making new connections and fostering older connections with industry partners and members. 🥂

Throwback Thursday! 🎉 Four weeks ago, our team hosted an incredible event at The Calgary Stampede.
The Stampede Bash was a wonderful opportunity to connect with our members and industry partners in Calgary last week.
Every conversation and memory made was productive and enjoyable, connecting over thoughts and ideas for the industry and the workers that represent it.
Thank you to Modern Steak for the beautiful venue and amazing food. And thank you to Hon. Martin Long and everyone who joined us for a lovely afternoon of oysters, steak, and drinks. 🥂

This was a wonderful opportunity to spend time with our industry partners, members, and build our connections. 🥂

Where were we this June?
June was an eventful month, with over 10 events of member engagement, education, community, and advocacy. Business doesn’t slow down in the summer for OpenCircle Contractors Association; we stay consistently committed to supporting our members and the industry through every endeavour.

The Founders’ Award is a special, one time honour created to mark OpenCircle Contractors Association’s 40th anniversary, and to recognize ALL the extraordinary individuals whose vision, courage, and leadership laid the foundation for the organization we know today. This award celebrates the trailblazers who transformed a small, resource limited association into a nationally-respected movement rooted in fairness, opportunity, innovation, and industry leadership.

Their work shaped OpenCircle’s identity as a champion of member empowerment, a pioneer in portable benefits, a national leader in training and workforce development, and a catalyst for positive change in labour legislation and industry standards.
