Proud to be a sponsor of this initiative. Love seeing everything this is about.

Thank You to Our Incredible Supporters!

Another Stones, Sweeps & Neurodiverse Peeps event is in the books and my heart is full. 🩵

Creating inclusive spaces where people with autism, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental differences can feel comfortable and confident trying curling is what Inclusive Curling is all about. But these events don’t happen alone, they happen because of a village of caring, generous people who believe that everyone deserves to belong on the ice.

A huge thank-you to our event partners and sponsors:

✨ Glen Kennedy & Suzie Kennedy of Copperstone Holdings Inc.
✨ Liv Real Estate
✨️ Step by Step Business Solutions
✨️ Olson Curling
✨ St. Albert Curling Club
✨️ Curling Alberta (Atina, Cori, & Lesley)
✨️ YEG Psychology (Carmen Barrack)

Your support allows us to keep building sensory-friendly, structured, and welcoming curling experiences for families and athletes who often don’t see themselves represented in sport.

To our incredible volunteers: Barb & Tom Kitagawa, Randy Olson, Crystal Kaufman, Jessie Hunkin, Jackie, Heather Steele, and Dean Darwent. Thank you for showing up with patience, kindness, and enthusiasm. From registration, to sweeping instruction, to stick curling, each of you helped create an environment where participants could relax, learn, and shine. 💫

Because of all of you, we’re not just teaching people how to curl, we’re showing them that they belong here, exactly as they are.

Very proud for this new project we helped Inclusive Curling launch. We couldn’t be more proud of Nicky Kaufman and the incredible effort to put this together. We love supporting events where Every Kind of Mind are embraced and supported to learn something new.

We had such a blast at our first "Stones, Sweeps and Neurodiverse Peeps" sensory friendly curling drop in this past weekend! Thank you to everyone who attended and gave curling a try. The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, and we can't wait to bring you more events this season. A big thank you to CTV Edmonton for coming out to share this meaningful initiative with a wider audience.

Our next drop-in event will be held October 25th, between 9am and 11am at the St. Albert Curling Club. Stay tuned for details.

Shout out to our amazing partners and sponsors for helping make this all possible: Olson Curling, Step by Step Business Solutions, Liv Real Estate, St. Albert Curling Club, Curling Alberta, Curling Canada

Same could be said for success in your business.
Are you ready to face the hard truth? The person responsible.

Facing it doesn’t mean
….shaming yourself
….beating yourself up
….blaming others

It means we
….look,
….reflect,
….and choose from there

What is it you want to create in 2025?!

Want to work on your confidence???
Toastmasters has been instrumental in developing my voice and being able to speak publicly both in prepared speeches and impromptu speaking. I have loved being a part of this club as they are so warm and welcoming and helpful in development.

I highly recommend going to check one out… even if to just improve your ability to speak more clearly in everyday conversations and in your business!!!

Jan 28, 2025 Celebrating Mother Tongue

First time SAA Tracy introduced our first time TM Bailey. Our Bailey hosted her first meeting like a pro.

We had 4 guests: Julie, Abdul, Max and Stacie.
Timer Norman watched the time closely minute by minute and Grammarian/Ah counter Cherry was tallying all the ahs/ums, however; the WOD Heritage was only used once by Adewale. 😌🤪

One Speaker Nayyer told us a story about a wise bird named "Red"; Nayyer's speech was evaluated by Craig who always gave good insight. Table Topics Master Gustavo prepared some interesting and closed to home questions. All five TT speakers: Cherry, Midi, guest Max, Craig and Crystal herself were evaluated by Crystal.
GE Harry happens to be Bailey's mentor who evaluated his mentee Bailey and the entire meeting. Best Evaluator won by Crystal and Best TT speaker was our guest Max. After the awards, Cherry, VP Edu called for contestants and volunteers for the upcoming Mock speech contests on Feb 11 and the official contests on Feb 25. She received immediate response from Crystal, Bailey, Adewale and Midi all wanted to be contestants and Norm will be our helper.

It’s crazy to me that many don’t have the patience to dedicate a couple years to growing a business, but have the patience to work for someone else for 10, 20, 30, 40 years…
