Some projects are special because of the work itself. Others are special because of the people behind them. Work Wild was both.

We recently launched this project with the Alberta Forest Products Association, and I’m really proud of where it landed. What began as a refresh became something bigger: research, strategy, storytelling, brand development, and a new website designed to better connect with young people and bring fresh energy to the program.

One part of the client feedback that really stayed with me was that the work was “thoughtfully developed and true to the research,” and that the refreshed brand and website led to “noticeable increases in program engagement.”

On this day in 2005 The Met Agency was officially incorporated as a company. I was lucky to have a business partner and brother in James Schutz, who took a chance on starting up a company with no money and no clients.
Instead of celebrating the company today, I wanted to celebrate all the fantastic people I've had the opportunity to work with over the years. People like Michelle McBride, Jane White, Andrea Gibson, Adolfo Ruiz, Chris Reyes, Dale Bochon, Adrian Watzke, Blake McWilliam, Jeremy Chugg, Jim Hunter, Justin Kowalczuk, Darren DeVries, and so many more.

Just weeks before the pandemic hit, the team had just wrapped up this project for the City of Leduc. They asked us to create a very special "lookbook" aimed at event organizers and decision-makers. The intent was to showcase the facilities and the city culture and to help sports organizations to imagine their sporting event was hosted in Leduc.
