Everybody wants

We had just finished shooting inside at Shadow Box Studios, so we borrowed a cig off Fontaine and slipped out the door. Our eyes adjusted to the golden rays of sun while we hunted for a lighter. With a flick it was sparked and burning. We drew in, we took turns. The smoke drifted across our faces in the light. It was a moment between the moments.

This is the stuff I love - good live local music. Taking photos at concerts has been a way for me to capture that energy and share it. I don’t have any photos of the headliner, but that’s just because I am in the band and I haven’t figured out how to play bass and take pictures at the same time.

We just had a lovely photo session with the Padua family, complete with beautiful autumn leaves and quaint historical structures.

Ryan and Lara got married this summer, and I was honoured to be asked to photograph their special day. These two people have had such a positive impact on me, their friends, and their community. It was a such a joy to celebrate them with the people they love.
