After beginning his PCL career as a student in Saskatoon in 2005, Wagemakers is returning to his hometown to lead the district where his journey started. His experience across both Saskatoon and Edmonton has helped advance major projects, operational excellence and innovation. 🏗️

📢 Project Milestone: Progress is flowing at one of the country's most innovative water projects.

Together with Sundt Construction, Inc., PCL is helping deliver the Pure Water Center, the nation's first direct-to-distribution potable reuse facility, which will transform treated wastewater into a sustainable new source of drinking water for El Paso Water. ♻️

This first-of-its-kind facility moves one step closer to delivering a reliable water supply for the El Paso community.

PCL's Phoenix Buildings team was proud to partner with DWL Architects + Planners, Inc. and Caruso Turley Scott Inc. Structural Engineers for Phoenix Canstruction 2026. 🌵

Together, 25 employees and family volunteers created "JellyCan Fields", a jellyfish-inspired sculpture built from 2,483 cans as part of this year's CANimals competition. 🪼

While the finished display showcased plenty of creativity and teamwork, the real impact comes next. Every can will be donated to St. Mary's Food Bank to help support individuals and families across Arizona.

It's a reminder that building stronger communities extends far beyond the jobsite. ♥️

Our work at Crypto.com Arena has been recognized with Engineering News-Record West's 2026 Best Sports & Entertainment Project and Excellence in Safety Award. 🦺

Over four construction phases, the team modernized one of Los Angeles' most iconic entertainment venues while keeping events, games and daily operations running. The project also achieved zero lost-time incidents across nearly 584,000 worker hours. 🏟️

📢 Project Milestone: PCL is expanding Port Canaveral’s Terminal 10, helping modernize cruise infrastructure at one of the nation’s busiest cruise ports. 🛳️

This Orlando project will expand the terminal to 145,000 square feet, making it nearly 30% larger than the existing facility. The expansion will improve passenger flow, enhance check-in and security screening areas and support next-generation cruise ships. 🚧

Construction is expected to be completed in November 2027, strengthening a critical gateway for Florida's cruise and tourism industry. 🏖️
