Cowichan River Rats

Unfortunately tomorrow nights game is cancelled due to not having any refs available. The game has been rescheduled for Monday June 8th 7:30pm at the Rat Cage. See you all then!

Last nights battle was a tough 15-3 loss. The boys came out firing and had a great first 20 minutes of the game. After the first we completely fell apart, stopped playing lacrosse and the Thunder took advantage. Bridgeway Transport’s player of the game is Dylan Dewarle who scored all 3 goals. We are back in action this weekend at the Rat Cage June 6th 8:30pm vs the Oceanside Sharks.

Saturday night we earned our first win against the Snuneymuxw Sun Devils, final score was 7-6. Bridgeway transport player of the game was Spencer Rooke who had a goal and 2 assists! Despite our short bench Spencer ran hard up and down the floor all game long. Well earned mister Rooke! We are back in action tomorrow night June 1st at the Rat Cage against the Cowichan Thunder 7pm. See you there!

Gameday! Tonight we face the defending league champions the Victoria Jokers. 7:30pm start time down in Panorama!

The shorthanded River Rats had 11 runners and it was a very exhausting affair. We lost to the new and eager Campbell River Ravens 15-6. Bridgeway Transport player of the game is our JR.B superstar Trey West who had 2 big goals for us and was working tirelessly! This kid has a bright future in the lacrosse world! Next game is May 21st in panorama vs the Victoria Jokers at 7:30, we hope to have a few more bodies on the floor!

Today we road trip up to Campbell River to face to new Campbell River Ravens lacrosse team at 4:30pm. Stayed tuned for updates later on!

We took another L in a hard fought game. Down 9-1 halfway through the game we battled back but fell short 13-8 to the speedy Victoria Blazers. Player of the game was Dylan Dewarle who started off the our goal scoring and ended up with 3 goals and 1 assist. We have a big break before our next game unfortunately! We play the Victoria Jokers May 21st back in panorama at 7:30pm.
