This piece is 12x16 on wood panel. I'm really exploring colour combinations and seeing what works and what doesn't. I think this is the first time I've ever used this yellow! Also, how is Halloween already over in stores and Christmas has begun. They fast track time too much! š

Here is another little itty bitty sketch on paper. Due to a shoulder injury, I haven't been able to work on large canvas for the past 6 months, so as a workaround, I ripped some of this drawing paper down to little sizes and it seems to be working. I also love that I feel less pressure to make it perfect, because its just a piece of paper I had in my closet, so it allows me to experiment more. Today is a beautiful sunny autumn day and it puts me in the best mood. Happy Thanksgiving!

This new piece came from a place of real flow. I didnāt overthink itāI just followed where the colours and textures wanted to go. It feels honest. Iām learning to trust that more. Iād love to know what it brings up for you!

New Series Now Live: Imperfect Presence
I'm excited to finally share my new portrait series, Imperfect Presence, now available on my website!
These paintings are raw, rough, and honestāfocused on capturing the emotional weight of simply existing. Some faces feel like they're fading, others stare right through you. Each piece holds a story about vulnerability, identity, and the beauty of imperfection.
If you've ever felt the pull to let go of perfection and just BE YOUāthis series is for you.
You can now view the full collection, explore the details, and bring a piece of Imperfect Presence into your space.

I created this sketch painting many years ago many years ago, and I was questioning evey thing about my art practice and style. I let all doubts and fears stop me in my tracks and get in my way of success. I've since learned that I must never stop despite what my thoughts say to me. I know this common....fear or failure and success....but I'm so glad I pushed through it and recognized it. Wish you all so much success because we all deserve it! PS: this piece is available if anyone wants it;)

New process, new method, new year... cause why not! Experimenting today on some new techniques I have been learning. Sometimes too much learning confuses me. I've been learning so many new art techniques, marketing skills, and painting skills. I was finding it hard to find a consistent voice! But hey, I'm trying out yet another way of laying down paint. Is there such a thing as too much learning?
