We are working to make Cornwall a more senior-friendly community!
By the year 2025, Cornwall expects that close to 30% of our population will be over the age of 65. To prepare for this demographic shift, the City of Cornwall has been proactive in making our community more senior friendly. We are so proud of our accessible garden and of the hard work that our volunteers are doing to care for it.
Karen Douglass Cooper and Glenn Cooper will be sharing their expertise on composting and how it can improve your garden too - no matter what size of garden, even if on your balcony or patio, you too can get great results with composting.

Seniors on Wheels is set to return this summer! The program provides free trishaw rides to seniors in Lamoureux Park by trained Cornwall Tourism ambassadors and volunteers. It will be run out of the Cornwall Tourism visitor centre in front of the Cornwall Civic Complex.
