Meet Finnegan. . Maisie’s baby had a baby! We got TWO highland x longhorns this year. Both bull calf’s yes, but we are frantically thinking of how we might be able to keep this little love. He is beyond sweet, and Delilah has turned out to be just the sweetest Mum. Not a fan of pets herself, she allows us to love up Finnegan all we want. First calf for her, and she’s a natural. Soon we will get her back in with her Mama and baby brother too. We lost Charlie in January. It was unexpected and heartbreaking. Colic is cruel. Even though this is just part of the life we are choosing to live, I don’t know if it is something we will ever get over. His death sucked the life from us for a while and we didn’t really know how to heal. Still don’t really. Charlie, you were the sweetest boy we could have eve asked for.
