Monday motivation:

What’s in your garden?

Gardens

Spring is the season when we tend to our gardens. We w**d out the things that are not going to nourish that garden and we plant the seeds and the things that we want to see blooming later on. It’s a time to go through and notice: What are we nourishing in our minds and in our bodies? What are we promoting for growth? What creative goals is our Liver energy planning for? Are we setting our Gallbladder energy up for success to help us achieve these goals? Tend to your garden. Where energy goes, energy flows!

Watch your thoughts, they become words.
Watch your words, they become actions.
Watch your actions, they become habits.
Watch your habits, they become character.
Watch your character, it becomes your destiny.

I want everyone to have the tools to heal themselves and to do the Whole Body work. Because your back hurting does not mean you need to work on the back. You might actually need to work on your feet, or your support network… that tension headache or migraine you have? I put a ball on my occipital muscles, massage my temple, my jawline and work on my feet, my glutes and my shoulders to get rid of my migraines and headaches.

Come join me at Sol for the May drop in class - Saturday the 23rd, 11:30 am (unlimited members this is included in your membership!)

Part 2: Palms up for energy
Palms down for grounding

But what it I need both? I have to discern between feeling tired because my energy is too high and I’m doing too much (need grounding) and feeling tired because I’m depleted. I would hear this cue and often chose to put my palms up thinking I needed more energy, but what I really needed was to put my palms down to bring my high need to be productive DOWN.
I needed to stop.
I needed to Be still.
I need to rest.
I need to PAUSE.
So I’m unlearning what it means to be productive. Because someone’s being productive means not doing anything so that you can recharge and keep “doing” tomorrow.
