The Cartwright-Roblin Fire Department (CRFD) would like to extend our sincere thanks to Manitoba Ag Days for their generous donation, which was used to purchase much-needed tools for our department.

Thanks to their support, we were able to add metric and standard wrench sets, along with a hose washer, to our fire trucks. These tools will help our firefighters perform maintenance, make repairs, and ensure our equipment is always ready to respond when emergencies arise.

We are grateful for Manitoba Ag Days' investment in our department and our community. Your generosity helps keep our firefighters prepared to serve and protect the residents of Cartwright-Roblin. Thank you!

At the Cartwright-Roblin Fire Department (CRFD), training isn't just about firefighting—it's also about making sure the tools we rely on every day are ready when our community needs us most.

🚒 TRAINING NIGHT | VEHICLE EXTRICATION PRACTICE 🚒

Yesterday at 8:00pm members of the Cartwright-Roblin Fire Department recently took part in a hands-on vehicle extrication training session focused on sharpening the skills needed during serious motor vehicle collisions and rescue situations.

Training like this allows our firefighters to safely practice critical techniques such as vehicle stabilization, glass management, door removals, roof displacement, patient access, and coordinated teamwork under pressure. Every scenario provides valuable experience that helps prepare our members for the unpredictable challenges they may face during real emergency calls.

Vehicle technology continues to evolve, and regular training ensures our department stays familiar with modern vehicle construction, safety systems, and rescue equipment. By continually practicing and improving our skills, we can provide faster, safer, and more effective emergency response for our community when every second counts.

A big thank you to everyone who helped organize and participate in the training session. The dedication our members show during nights like these reflects the commitment they have to protecting and serving the communities of Cartwright and Roblin.

🚨 Training hard today to be ready tomorrow. 🚨
